The *Subject To Change® gallery opened in 2013 inside Cardiff’s Victorian, Grade 2 listed Castle Arcade with the support of Arts Council Wales. The first solo show by James, called ‘Sorry It's Not For You', was an exhibition for ‘The Nouveau Prole’, it featured a selection of new work created especially for the show, alongside a number of items from his extensive archive.
